RICE AND BROCCOLI CASSEROLE | |
1 1/4 c. uncooked rice 1 pkg. frozen broccoli (I use fresh broccoli) 1 can mushroom soup 1/2 tsp. salt 1 sm. box Velveeta cheese 1/2 tsp. black pepper 1/2 soup can water Cook rice according to package directions. Cook broccoli according to package directions or boil fresh broccoli until tender. Mix all ingredients in an 8 x 11 x 2 inch casserole dish. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes. Cream of celery soup or cream of chicken soup may be used instead of mushroom soup. |
