1/2 lb. butter
1 qt. (32 oz.) milk
1/2 c. flour
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
12 oz. beer
1 1/2 lbs. Old English cheese (three 8 oz. pkgs.)

Melt butter, add flour, whip until smooth - add milk, whip 10 minutes. Add cheese and rest of ingredients and mix. Before serving add beer.
