1 pkg. chocolate pudding mix (not instant)
1 c. sugar
1 c. peanuts, whole or chopped
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 tbsp. butter

Mix chocolate pudding mix, sugar, evaporated milk and butter. Boil for 3 or 4 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla and peanuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Almonds can be used instead of peanuts.
