SWEDISH COCONUT COOKIE 
Yield 5 dozen 2 1/2 inch cookies. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Make small.

Cream together: 1 c. shortening 2 1/3 c. sugar

Add: 3 2/3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1 scant tsp. salt 2 c. coconut

Mix well. Scoop or roll into 1 inch balls and put on ungreased pans. Flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Bake until light brown.
