OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening (do not substitute)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. oatmeal
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. butterscotch chips

Beat first 5 ingredients with mixer in a large bowl. Stir in dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
