PEACH PRESERVES 
4 lbs. ripe peaches, peeled & sliced
6 c. sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice

Toss peaches and sugar. Refrigerate 12 hours. Heat peach mixture to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil 20 minutes. Stir in lemon juice and boil 10 minutes. Immediately pour into hot jars leaving 1/4" headspace. Seal jars.
