ORANGE SHORTBREAD SQUARES 
2 1/3 c. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/3 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. grated orange peel
Confectioner's sugar

In small bowl, combine 2 cups flour, baking powder, salt. In large bowl, with mixer at medium speed beat butter and 1/2 cup sugar until light and fluffy. At low speed gradually stir in flour mixture until well blended. Chill 2 hours.

Press dough into 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. In large bowl beat eggs, remaining flour and sugar, juice and peel until light and fluffy. Pour over baked layer; bake 30 minutes more. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, cut into 1 1/2 inch squares.
