ORANGE SHORTBREAD SQUARES 
2 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. Blue Bonnet butter, softened
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/3 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. grated orange peel
Confectioners sugar

In small bowl, combine 2 cups flour, baking powder, salt. In large bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, beat butter and 1/2 cup sugar until light and fluffy. At low speed gradually stir in flour mixture until well blended. Chill 2 hours. Press dough into 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

In large bowl beat eggs, remaining flour and sugar, juice and peel, until light and fluffy. Pour over baked layer, bake 30 minutes more. Cool. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Carefully cut into 1 1/2 inch squares.
