ORANGE SHORTBREAD SQUARES 
2 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter (softened)
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/3 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. grated orange peel
Confectioners' sugar

In a small bowl, combine 2 cups flour, baking powder and salt. In large bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, beat butter and 1/2 cup sugar until light and fluffy. At low speed gradually stir in flour mixture until well blended. Chill 2 hours.

Press dough into 13x9x2 pan. Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

In large bowl beat eggs, remaining flour and sugar, juice and peel until light and fluffy. Pour over baked layer and bake 30 minutes more. Cool. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar; carefully cut into 1 1/2 inch squares.
