TURKEY PATE | |
1 pkg. cooked oven-roasted Louis Rich turkey breast (about 1 1/2 lb.) 2 c. chopped walnuts 1/2 c. softened salted butter 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1 tsp. seasoned salt 1 tsp. liquid smoke Extra chopped nuts (optional) French bread 1. Chop nuts in food processor; pour in large bowl. 2. Chop turkey in food processor; add to nuts in bowl. 3. Add butter, mayonnaise, salt, liquid smoke to turkey and nuts. Mix by hand until well combined. 4. Form into 1 or 2 large balls. Press extra chopped nuts on outside of balls. Serve with sliced French bread. (I have even had some success freezing this pate.) (This is a favorite at every gathering.) |
