3 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix the above ingredients as you would for a pie crust. In a small bowl, beat 2 eggs well. Add 1 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons vanilla, then add this to first mixture. Roll in palm of hand and flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 7-8 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
