BLACKBERRY ROLYPOLY 
Set the oven at 425 degrees. Butter a pan 8x12 inches. Prepare dough.

2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. sugar

With a blending fork or fingers, work in 1/4 cup butter. Stir in, little by little, 3/4 cup milk until the dough holds together but is still soft. Turn out on a floured board. Roll into an oblong 1/2-inch thick. Brush with 2 tablespoons melted butter.

6 c. blackberries (slightly mashed)
1 1/4 c. sugar (best if let blackberries and sugar soak overnight)
1/2 tsp. salt

Sprinkle half the fruit mixture over the dough. Roll up like a jelly roll. Put in the pan with the fold on the bottom. Put the rest of the fruit around the roll. Bake about 30 minutes.
