STUFFED PIZZA | |
1/2 lb. Italian sausage 1/2 lb. ground beef 3 1/3 c. Bisquick baking mix 3/4 c. cold water 3 c. (12 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar pizza sauce Your favorite pizza toppings Grease 9x13x2 inch baking dish. Cook and stir sausage and ground beef. Drain and set aside. Mix baking mix and water until dough forms. Divide into 2 parts, one slightly larger. On surface dusted with baking mix, roll larger portion of dough into 14x16 inches. Fold into thirds. Place in dish. Unfold. Press on bottom and upsides of dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese. Cover with 3/4 cup of the pizza sauce. Add meat mixture and other toppings. Cover with 1 1/2 cup of the cheese. Roll remaining dough into 9x13 inches. Fold into thirds. Place over cheese dish. Unfold. Press bottom and top crust edges together to seal. Make small slits in top crust. Spread crust with remaining pizza sauce and cheese. Bake until crust is golden, 22 to 25 minutes. Makes 8 to 10 servings. |
