CHOCOLATE MINT STICKS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 squares (1 oz. ea.) unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 c. flour, sifted
1/2 c. walnuts, finely chopped

MINT FROSTING:

1 c. confectioners' sugar, sifted
2 tbsp. butter, softened
1 tbsp. light cream
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
Green food coloring (optional)

CHOCOLATE GLAZE:

1 square (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
1 tbsp. butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8 x 8 inch pan. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in chocolate; stir in flour, then nuts. Pour into pan and bake for about 25 minutes. Cool, then spread with frosting, then glaze.

For frosting, combine all ingredients; beat well. Spread over cooled brownie layer, let stand until set.

For glaze, melt the 1 square chocolate with 1 tablespoon butter and spread over frosting. Chill until firm. Cut into 2 x 3/4 inch bars.
