1 German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels, melted
1 c. chocolate chips
2/3 c. canned milk
1 c. chopped nuts

Melt caramels with 1/3 cup canned milk. Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup milk, butter and nuts. Pat 1/2 of mixture into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Pour caramel mixture over baked cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Top with remaining cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes.
