FROSTBITE 
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 Baker's German sweet chocolate bar, grated
1 env. clear gelatin, dissolved in 1/3 c. water

Mix and set aside.

FILLING:

3 egg yolks (set aside whites)
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix yolks, sugar, milk and salt. Cook filling until it comes to a boil and coats spoon. Remove from stove and add gelatin and vanilla. Cool. When cool, add beaten egg whites and whipped cream.

Cover bottom of 9"x9" dish with half of grated chocolate. Add filling and add grated chocolate over the top.
