LEFSE (NORWAY) | |
4 c. riced or mashed potatoes 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 c. melted lard 1 tsp. salt 2 c. flour Combine all ingredients. Shape about 1/2 cup of dough into ball. Refrigerate. Roll dough thin on slightly floured board with grooved rolling pin. Bake on lefse griddle. Serve cold with butter, sugar or brown sugar. Yield: 10-12 servings. |
