FAMILY SWISS STEAK 
2 lbs. round steak
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lg. onion, diced
1 c. tomato juice
4 oz. can undrained mushrooms

Cut steak into 6 pieces. Coat with flour and brown on both sides in hot oil in a large frying pan. Place meat in 9x13 inch pan; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add mushrooms with liquid, onion, and tomato juice. Cover baking dish with foil and bake tightly covered at 350 degrees for 1 1/2-2 hours. Serves 6.
