QUICHE LORRAINE 
1 c. cheddar cheese
2 c. cream (Pet or Carnation)
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
1/3 c. green onions
1/8 tsp. red pepper
1/4 tsp. sugar
4 eggs

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Prepare a pastry shell (single crust). Sprinkle in cheese, onions, mushrooms in pie crust. Slightly beat eggs, beat in remaining ingredients, then pour cream into mixture and pour into pie crust. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce hat to 300 degrees for 40 minutes.
