CELCILIA'S CINCINNATI CHILI 
Combine:

2 lb. hamburger (don't brown)
2 chopped onions
1 qt. water

Simmer for 30 minutes.

Add:

2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
4 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 bay leaf
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 drops Tabasco sauce

Simmer uncovered 2 to 3 hours until thick. Refrigerate overnight. Add 1 can kidney beans, if desired. Sprinkle top with shredded cheddar cheese.
