PECAN PIE 
3/4 c. white corn syrup (or honey)
1/4 c. butter
3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. sugar (white or brown)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, finely chopped

Cream syrup (or honey) with the butter Add sugar and eggs, well beaten. Beat all thoroughly, then add vanilla and pecans, finely chopped. Pour into baked pastry shell and bake in slow oven (350 degrees) for 30 minutes.
