3 tbsp. butter
1 scant c. flour
1 rounded tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 1/2 to 2 c. milk

BROWN SUGAR SYRUP:

1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. water

Melt butter in skillet. Mix flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. In a glass pitcher, beat eggs and enough milk to reach 2 cup level. Add milk mixture gradually to flour mixture. Beat well with fork and add melted butter. Batter will be thin. Bake in hot skillet in thin layers, tipping skillet to cover bottom. Flip with spatula.

BROWN SUGAR SYRUP: Boil brown sugar and water for 1 minute or so.
