BLACKBERRY CAKE 
1 1/2 c sugar
1 c butter
1 1/2 t vanilla
4 eggs
3 c flour
2 t baking powder
2/3 c sour cream
1/2 t baking soda
1 1/4 c berries
1/2 c nuts

In large bowl, combine sugar and butter. Beat vigorously for 1 min. Add vanilla and eggs and beat until smooth. Sift together flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream and beat until smooth. Carefully fold in berries and nuts. Spoon into a greased and floured 9 in tube pan.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour and 20 min. Turn out of pan right away to cool.

Topping:

1/2 c sugar
1/3 c flour
1/2 t cinnamon
1/4 c butter
