CINNAMON SPAGHETTI | |
3 tbsp. olive oil 1 med. size onion, chopped 1 med. size bell pepper, chopped 3 stalks celery, chopped 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms 2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1 c. hot water 1/2 c. catsup 3 tsp. chili powder 3 tsp. salt 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 3 sticks cinnamon 1 lb. ground chuck Saute in olive oil the onion, pepper, celery and mushrooms. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, catsup, chili powder, salt and Worcestershire sauce. Add cinnamon sticks. Shape meatballs and brown on all sides. Add meatballs to sauce and simmer for hours. Serve over hot spaghetti. NOTE: I put in 2 large skillets and cook with covers on. May need to add water at times. |
