HAMBURGER ROMANOFF 
1 lb. ground beef
1 can (6 oz.) sliced mushrooms
1 env. (2 1/2 oz.) sour cream sauce mix
2 tbsp. instant minced onion
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. catsup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
5 oz. uncooked noodles (about 3 c.)
3 1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large skillet, cook and stir meat over medium flame until brown. Drain off fat. Stir in mushrooms (with liquid), sour cream sauce mix, flour, onion, catsup, salt, garlic salt and pepper. In ungreased 2 1/2 quart casserole, layer half each of the uncooked noodles and the meat mixture; repeat. Pour boiling water on top. Cover and bake 50 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake uncovered until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Makes approximately 4 servings.
