MAMA'S HOMEMADE SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 lb. hamburger
2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes, mash as small as possible
1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 oz. mushrooms, diced
1/2 c. onions, diced
1 clove garlic, diced
2 stalks celery, chopped (optional)
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. sugar (optional)

Form 3/4 lb. hamburger into meatballs and crumble the other 1/4 lb. hamburger. Brown and pour off grease. Mix all other ingredients in a crock pot and gently add hamburger. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 8 hours.
