MOLLY'S EGGNOG CHRISTMAS CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix without pudding (2 layer size)
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding (4 serving size)
4 eggs
3/4 c. cooking oil
3/4 c. sweet vermouth or sherry
1 tsp. nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 10" fluted tube pan. Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 4 minutes. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched. Cool on wire rack for 20 minutes. Remove from pan and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.

Add desired decorations. Candied cherries and holly leaves are suggested. Lightly sprinkle with nutmeg.
