TOMATO PIE 
1 pie shell, baked and cooled
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 c. mayonnaise
3 med. tomatoes, peeled and thickly sliced
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. onions, chopped
2 c. cheese, grated

Bake pie shell for 5 minutes at 450 degrees. Reduce heat to 400 degrees. Slice tomatoes and arrange in cooled pie shell. Combine salt, basil, pepper and onion and sprinkle over tomatoes. Mix mayonnaise and cheese and spread over to seal pie shell. Bake 35 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly browned.
