GERMAN LEBKIN COOKIES 
6 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3 c. nuts
1 c. liquor

Mix all ingredients together. Spread out on 4 cookie sheets that have been oiled, about 1/4-inch thick. Cook at 350°F for 10 to 13 minutes. Take out of oven and pour this mixture over hot cookies.

Top of Cookies:

2 (1 lb. ea.) boxes powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
evaporated milk (enough to mix)
liquor

Pour over cookies. Cut into squares.
