MERINGUE COOKIES 
2 egg whites
Dash salt
2/3 c. granulated sugar
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. chocolate chips

Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in sugar and salt until stiff peaks form. Fold in nuts and chips. Drop batter by rounded teaspoon onto cookie sheet either greased or covered with wax paper. Put in oven heated to 350 degrees and then turn off oven and leave until cold, or bake in 325 degree oven about 20 minutes.
