FLORENCE'S FRUIT SALAD DESSERT 
3 ripe bananas
1 c. diced canned pineapple
1 c. diced canned pears
1 doz. maraschino cherries, thinly sliced
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. whipping cream

Combine bananas, mashed to a smooth pulp, with pineapple, pears and cherries.

Combine mayonnaise and lemon juice and add to fruit. Whip until stiff whipping cream; fold into fruit mixture.

Pour into freezer tray lined with wax paper. Freeze 3 to 5 hours or until solid. Decorate with whip cream from pastry tube.
