FROZEN FRUIT DESSERT SALAD 
1 1/2 c. sour cream or 1 c.
3/4 c. sugar or 1/2 c.
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1/4 c. chopped drained maraschino cherries
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple (drained)
2 lg. ripe bananas, sliced

Combine sour cream with sugar; mix well. Add salt and lemon juice. Add the nuts, cherries, pineapple and banana. Stir just enough to blend evenly. Turn into a square or rectangular pan. Freeze until firm. Remove 5 minutes before serving and cut into squares. This salad keeps for weeks frozen.
