FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. juice (orange or pineapple)
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1/4 lb. diced citron
1/2 lb. whole candied cherries
2 c. pecan halves

Put raisins in bowl. Add juice; mix well. Let stand 1 hour. Mix next 5 ingredients. Cream butter. Add sugar and eggs; beat until light and fluffy. Add flour mixture and mix until smooth. Add raisins and remaining ingredients; mix well. Cover and chill overnight. Shape into balls the size of walnuts and put on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 325 degrees about 12 minutes.
