SPANISH GREEN BEANS 
2 tbsp. butter
2 onions, sliced
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 (16 oz.) can green beans
1 tsp. salt
Dash Tabasco sauce
1/3 c. water

Melt butter in a 2 quart saucepan. Add onions and cook until soft. Sprinkle rice over onions. Cut up tomatoes, pour over rice. Add green beans, pepper, salt, Tabasco sauce and water. Cover and simmer until rice is tender. Add water if needed. Cook 30-35 minutes.
