APPLESAUCE MEAT RING 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. wheat germ
8 oz. can tomato herb sauce
1 onion, diced (3/4 c.)
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Press firmly into ungreased Bundt pan with tube center. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Drain and invert onto platter. Serves 8-10.

SAUCE:

8 oz. can tomato herb sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Heat sauce, mixing in brown sugar and lemon juice. Pour on each slice when serving.
