APRICOT BALLS 
3/4 c. Crisco
3/4 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. milk
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 jars apricot filling

Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs, then add milk and rest of ingredients. Roll into small balls. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees. While still warm, slice off top of cookie. Scoop out 1/2 teaspoon of cookie and add about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of apricot. Put top on cookie and frost.

FROSTING:

1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. Crisco
5 to 7 tbsp. milk

Cream ingredients together. Frost cookies and dip in chopped nuts or coconut.
