SWEET - SOUR SPARERIBS 
2 lbs. country-style ribs
2 inches fresh ginger
1 tbsp. sherry
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar (brown or white)
2 cloves garlic (optional)

Brown meat in vegetable oil with chopped ginger and garlic. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for approximately 1 hour or until the meat begins falling off the bones. If desired, garnish with sliced radishes.
