HEAVENLY POTATOES 
1 (24 oz.) bag frozen Ore-Ida potatoes O'Brien, thawed 30 minutes
1 c. diced onions
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
8 oz. sour cream
1/2 stick butter
8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
Salt and pepper

Break apart frozen potatoes gently and mix into the rest of ingredients. Mix well with potatoes and put into a greased 9x13 inch Pyrex dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup crushed cereal or potatoes. Bake at 375 degrees or 350 degrees, if you have other things in the oven, for 1 hour. Do not over cook. Bake uncovered.
