SHAKER LEMON PIE 
2 lg. lemons, sliced paper thin
2 c. sugar
4 lg. eggs

Mix lemons and sugar, cover and let stand at room temperature overnight. Stir several times. Beat eggs and stir into lemon sugar mixture. Pour into unbaked shell. Top with crust. Cut 4 slits near center of top crust. Bake 15 minutes at 450 degrees. Reduce heat to 375 degrees and bake 20 more minutes or until golden brown. This pie is different but very good.
