BEEF AND PINTO STEW 
1 c. dry pinto beans
5 c. water
1 lb. beef, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. pepper
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 onion, chopped

Heat beans and water to boiling. Boil 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and bake in oven at 325 degrees for 2 hours. Cover and bake until beef and beans are tender, about 2 more hours.
