EASY "FRUITIE" CAKE 
2 eggs
1 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon, ground
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 can pie filling (apple, cherry, peach, etc.)

Beat together all ingredients except fruit. When mixed stir in can of fruit with its syrup. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking dish or pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Cool. If desired, frost with canned frosting or sprinkle powdered sugar on top of "fruitie" cake. It's an easy family project.
