PLUM CHUTNEY 
6 lbs. prune plums
3 pts. cider vinegar
4 lbs. sugar
1 c. sultanas
1 lb. seeded raisins
2 oz. garlic
3 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. ginger
1 tbsp. cayenne
1 tbsp. cloves
1 tbsp. peppercorns

Stone plums, cut in halves, mix with raisins and garlic. Boil fruits and vinegar for 5 minutes. Add other ingredients, boil for 1 1/2 hours and stir well. Bottle and seal. Let sit for 1 year. Be sure to mark date on cover.
