AUDREY'S DELICIOUS PECANS 
1 lb. pecans
1 c. sugar
2 egg whites, beat until stiff
Dash of salt
1/2 c. butter

Combine egg whites, sugar, and salt; set aside. Toast nuts on cookie sheet with sides for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove nuts and melt butter on same cookie sheet. Add nuts to egg white mixture, coating well. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet and return to oven for 30 minutes. Turn nuts after 15 minutes of baking.
