HOMEMADE CATSUP 
1 gallon thick tomato juice
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. onions, put in blender, or 1 1/2 tsp. onion salt

Bring to brisk boil and simmer briskly until 1/2 volume. Add to:

1 1/4 c. vinegar
2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. mixed pickling spices
