THREE LAYER FUDGE BARS 
2 sqs. unsweetened chocolate
1/3 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. broken nuts

Melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Beat in sugar and eggs. Stir in sifted dry ingredients. Add nuts. Spread in greased 8 inch square pan. Bake 30-35 minutes in 350 degree oven until top has dull crust. Cool slightly. Make Topping.

TOPPING:

Brown 1/4 cup soft butter over medium heat. Blend with 2 cups confectioners' sugar. Blend in 2 tablespoons cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread on brownies.

Melt 1 square unsweetened chocolate and 1 tablespoon butter. When cool, spread very thin coating over icing.
