CARAMEL CORN 
2 cubes butter
2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6-10 c. popped popcorn

Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar, Karo, and salt. Stir constantly as not to burn. Bring to gentle boil. Leave alone for 5 minutes to cook. Remove from heat; add vanilla and baking soda. Stir rapidly.

Place all popped corn in large brown shopping bag. Pour caramel mixture over popped corn. Mix quickly with wooden spoon.

Put bag into microwave 2 minutes. Remove and stir. Put back 2 minutes. Remove and stir. Continue again and again until corn is covered with mixture and starts to harden. Break apart or leave in large sections. Put caramel corn into another clean bag or container and go to the ball game!

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
