FROZEN STRAWBERRY JAM | |
2 c. crushed strawberries 4 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. grated lime peel 2 tbsp. lime juice 1/2 (6 oz.) liquid pectin Wash, drain, hull and crush berries; add sugar and lime peel, mixing thoroughly. Let mixture stand at room temperature 10 minutes. Combine lime juice with liquid pectin, stir in fruit mixture. Continue stirring for 3 minutes. Pour into clean container; cover with tight-fitting lids. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours. If jam does not set, refrigerate until it does. Freeze! |
