FROZEN UNCOOKED STRAWBERRY JAM 
3 c. strawberries, mashed
5 c. sugar
1 pkg. Sure Jel
1 c. water

Mix berries and sugar. Let stand 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Dissolve Sure Jel in water and bring to boil. Boil 1 minute. Pour into fruit mixture and stir for 2 minutes. Put into jar or jelly glasses and seal. As soon as jam cools, freeze.

Blackberries, raspberries or peaches may be substituted for strawberries. In peaches use 1/8 teaspoon ascorbic acid to sugar to prevent browning of fruit.
