HUNGARIAN APPLE PIE 
4 sticks butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. lemon juice
4 c. flour

FILLING:

8 med. apples
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. cinnamon

Mix ingredients for dough as you would pie crust. Divide in 2 parts. Roll one part out and line a cookie sheet with it. Spread bread crumbs over bottom crust. Mix sugar with cinnamon and toss with cored, peeled, sliced apples. Place apple mixture over bread crumbs. Roll out top crust and place over apples, sealing edges and making slits in it. Brush top crust with egg yolk and 1 tablespoon melted butter. Bake at 375 to 400 degrees for 50 minutes.
