CINNAMON TWISTS 
1 c. sour cream
3 tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cake yeast
1 lg. egg
2 tbsp. shortening
3 c. flour

Heat to lukewarm sour cream. Remove from heat, stir in sugar, soda, and salt. Crumble yeast into mixture. Stir until dissolved. Add egg, soft shortening and flours. Roll out. Spread with butter, sugar and cinnamon. Roll into roll, cut into rolls. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. 2 dozen.
